In giorni come questi

invoco la nebbia

per avvolgere i pensieri

in ovattata nullità

poi un giglio

dai petali soffici

come le dita del bimbo

che lo dona

accende il sole

I invoke the fog to wrap thoughts

in muffled nothingness

then a lily

with soft petals

like the fingers of the child

who gives it to me

lights up the sun
